    During your stay in the Sierra Gaucha, reserve two hours to see the Park of the Sequoias and enjoy closely the greatness of the taller trees in the world. The Sequoias Park is 2.5 kilometers from the center of the city with paved access. There are more than 150 species cataloged and two auto-interpretation trails. It is one of the largest collections of conifers (cones-like fruit) of the world, where there are highlights such as the Ginkgo Biloba, the oldest tree on the planet. The park offers routes of trekking, mountain bike and hipoturismo.     In 2003, through the presence of the family Bausch, Farol Brewery comes to Canela. Caring of manufacturing and purity of ingredients results into a product of the highest degree of quality and purity. It manufactures Pilsen, Weizenbock, Tripel and IPA beers. 

    The pub has visitation to the factory, which can be scheduled in advance, and the typical restaurant German, which is open from Tuesday to Friday from 5pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11hrs.

    Caracol Little Castle

    One of the first residences of Canela, it was built between 1913 and 1915,with fittings and screws, without the use of nails. The site houses a museum with furniture and utensils left by the family Franzen, a true return to the past. It also has a tea house, which serves the most famous "Apfelstrudel" in the region.

    Baroque Atelier - Blown Glass

    Three Artists from the same family created the Baroque Atelier. A mix of store and art space where they are produced objects in blown glass, shaped by hand with the use of a torch in a technique known as "LAMPWORKING", ranging from sculptures to necklaces and pendants. The process may be accompanied to the preview daily, free entry.

    A blessed place where the colorful and the beauty of the images of saints fills the eyes. There are more than 50 little chapels, from the Parque Estadual do Caracol until the Ferradura Park.
